Botox/ Dysport Liquid Rhinoplasty
While Botox is commonly associated with reducing wrinkles and fine lines, it can also be used for non-surgical nose reshaping or “liquid rhinoplasty.” Here’s how it works:
Dorsal Hump Reduction: Botox can be strategically injected into the muscles surrounding a dorsal hump (a bump on the bridge of the nose), causing them to relax. This can create the appearance of a smoother nasal profile by minimizing the prominence of the hump.
Nasal Tip Elevation: By injecting Botox into the depressor septi nasi muscle, which pulls down the nasal tip, the muscle can be weakened, allowing the nasal tip to elevate slightly. This can result in a more refined and upturned appearance of the nose.
Nasal Symmetry Correction: Botox injections can also be used to address minor asymmetries in the nose by relaxing the muscles on one side, helping to achieve a more balanced appearance.
Non-Surgical Approach: Botox nose reshaping offers a non-surgical alternative to traditional rhinoplasty, with minimal discomfort and downtime. The procedure is typically quick, and results are noticeable within a few days to a week after treatment.
